Carlos Andre Hawkins

 With respect and deep gratitude, this Memorial Service is dedicated to the Loving Memory of Carlos Andre Hawkins "DRE". As we continue through life the precious memories of our loved one, we are also compelled to render then unto God for HIS promise of eternal life. There is no certainty concerning the span of human life. The certainty lies in the immortality soul. As we bid farewell to this respected brother, let us be ever more mindful of the influence of our lived upon the world and upon others, and may we strive to live lives of thoughtful humble service before our Creator as we await our reunion in Heaven.

Carlos was born August 3, 1972 to the late John Wayne Hawkins and the late Evelyn Marie Hawkins.

Carlos decided to give his life to Christ just in time before he gained his wings. Carlos was a member of God's Love Covenant Church where he was welcomed as he was with embracement of love he became part service like he knew he had found a home and church family, he loved fellowshipping with his brothers and sisters in Christ.

Carlos was called home in Glory on August 17, 2018 on a Friday.

He leaves to cherish his memories 2 Sons: Andre Martez Hawkins-Irons of Decatur, Alabama. Quintavious Shaquan Fletcher of Huntsville, Alabama. 3 Sisters: Kontrina (Johnny) Darrington, Ramona (Jason) White and Shanika Hawkins all of Decatur, Alabama. A host of aunts, uncles nieces, nephews and other relatives and close friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 1:00pm at God's Love Covenant Church (located at 712 Memorial Dr. SW. Decatur, Alabama 35601). Sharpley Funeral home assisted the family with the arrangements.
