   Courtney DeJuan Shaw was born on June 24, 1989 in Decatur, Alabama to Charles L. Shaw, Jr. and Arlene Shaw.

Courtney confessed Christ at an early at Hill's Chapel under the leadership of Rev. John Moore.

He is preceded in death by his Grandfather: Charles L. Shaw, Sr.

He departed this earthly life for his Heavenly Home on Tuesday, September 11, 2018.

He leaves to cherish his memories his parents: Charles L. Shaw, Jr. and Arlene Shaw of Springhill, Tenn. 2 Sisters: Ky' Andrea Shaw of Springhill, Tenn. Kiana Harris of Decatur, Alabama. 1 Brother: Charles L. Shaw, lll  of Decatur, Alabama. Grandparents: Percell Yarbrough and Sally Yarbrough. Emma Shaw all of Decatur, Alabama. 2 Nieces: Alaina Shaw and Jasmine Harris both of Decatur, Alabama. 3 Nephews: Cayden Shaw of Springhill, Tenn. Bryson Shaw and Jermaine Harris both of Decatur, Alabama. 7 Aunts: Dynasty Yarbrough of Decatur, Alabama. Kimberly Young of Chattanooga, Tenn. Carolyn Shaw of Decatur, Alabama. Shelia Henderson of Harvest, Alabama. Sharon (Jeff) Smartt of Madison, Alabama. Melinda (Gray) Johnson of Decatur, Alabama. Brenda (Warren) Hill of Hillsboro, Alabama. 2 Great-Aunts: Linda Cosby and Annie Crittendon both of Decatur, Alabama. 7 Uncles: Anthony Yarbrough, Morris Yarbrough, DeShone Yarbrough, Lamar Williams, Brian Williams all of Decatur, Alabama. Marcus (Vicki)  of Baltimore, MD. Greg Shaw of Kansas City, MO. A Best Friend: Marvis Shamburger. A host other relatives and friends.

 Under the directing of Sharpley Funeral Home. Funeral will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 1:00pm at Progressive Christian Outreach Ministry (located at 635 Memorial Dr. SW. Decatur, Alabama 35601). Burial in Sterrs Cemetery. The body will be in church 1 hr., before the services.
