Elvin Dean Cain

Elvin was born to the late Leo Cain and Lena Mae Coleman on November 23, 1955.

He attended Trinity High School in Athens, Alabama.

He confessed hope in Christ at an early age.

Elvin as known by everyone as "Big Bubba". He sung in a band at the young age of 35.

He loved his wife: Carolyn Gladney-Cain, his son, his step-children and his family as much as they all loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a step-father: Willie Driskell, his twin brother: Melvin Cain and an uncle: Lee Coleman.

Bubba departed this earthly life Friday, September 8, 2017 at River City Rahab Center in Decatur, Alabama.

He leaves to cherish his memories: A wife: Carolyn Gladney-Cain of Decatur, Alabama. A son: Tony Fletcher of Athens, Alabama. 4 Step-children. 3 Sisters: Betty(Terrill) Driskell, Loure(Cater) Driskell, Edna Coffey all of Decatur, Alabama. 5 brothers: Kenny(Shelia) Driskell, Willie(Shalonda) Driskell, Ronald(Janice) Driskell and Sammy Driskell. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, 15 2017 at 1:00pm at Abundant Life Church. Bishop Ronnie Powell, Pastor-Officiating. Sharpley Funeral Home assisted the family with local Arrangements.
