Howard Leroy Harris was born May 16, 1938 to the late Charlie and Pauline Harris in Limestone County, Alabama.
"BayRed" as he was affectionately called by family and friends.
He confessed hope in Christ a an early age and joined Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church.
BayRed served his country for 20 years in The United States Army. He was also a retired Truck Driver for Yellow Freight Trucking Company.
He is preceded in death by his parents. His wife: Elizabeth Ann Holden-Harris. 2 Sisters. 2 Brothers.
He leaves to cherish his precious and fond memories: A Sister: Ardelia Tisdale of Greenbrier, Alabama. A Step-Son: Larry Dean of Greenbrier, Alabama. Special Cousin / Caregiver: Alex (Nikita) Wiggins of Decatur, Alabama. A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Under the directing of Sharpley Funeral Home. Funeral will be held Friday, December 14, 2018 at 12:00pm at Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church. Rev. Joe H. Cater, Pastor-Officiating. Burial in Ragland Cemetery. The body will be in church 1 hr., before the services.
