Kontrina "Trina" Leanette (Stewart) Dancy-Darrington

Kontrina was born July 29, 1971 to the late Percy Lee Johnson and the late Evelyn Marie Hawkins. She is preceded in death by one son: Eric Jr., 2 Brother: Carlos Andre Hawkins and Percy O'Neal Johnson.

Kontrina confessed her life in Christ in 2007 where she became a member of Reach and Restore Outreach Ministries. She immediately took on the task of working with the Youth and Young Adults. She loved kids and also became the Church's Program Director in 2008.

Kontrina was called home to rest Monday, December 23, 2019.

She leaves to cherish her memories A husband: Johnny Darrington of Mobile, Alabama. 4 Sisters: Romona Hawkins (Jason) White. Shanika Hawkins both of Decatur, Alabama. Lynette Dillard and Monique both of Ohio. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles other relatives and friends. A Special Friend Mr. John.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 1:00pm at United Jubilee House Of Prayer (Located at 2110 State Ave SW. Decatur, Alabama 35601). Bishop Thomas D. Strong, Pastor-Officiating. Sharpley Funeral Home is assisting the family in the arrangements.
