Levolia Davis

Levolia Davis was born to the late Charlie Davis and Carrie Shackelford-Garth on July 4, 1940 in Moulton, Alabama.

He was employed at Wolverine Tube, Inc. in the late 1960's. He also worked as a Concrete Mason until he retired.

Levolia Davis confessed his hope in Christ at his mother's funeral at David Temple Church under Bishop Curtis Foster.

He is preceded in death by his 3 sisters: Lizzie Mae Williams, Annie Bell Garth and Charolette Pride. 3 brothers: W.T. Shackelford, Anderson
He departed this life on Wednesday, August 30, 2017.

He leaves to cherish his memories: 2 daughters: Michelle(Jeff) Garner of Decatur, Alabama. Joyce Orr of Moulton, Alabama. 1 son: Patrick Warren of Moulton, Alabama. 2 step-sons: Donnie(Maryla) Davis and Eduardo(Karen) Davis all of Decatur, Alabama. 3 sisters: Lucy Mae Russell of Huntsville, Alabama. Alberta(Raeford) Turner of Detroit, MI. Juanita Haynes of Cleveland, OH. 2 Devoted grandchildren: Tiffany Garner and Quintin Davis. A devoted son-in-law: Jeffery Garner. A host of caregivers at USA Rehab and Louise Jones. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.

Under the directing of Sharpley Funeral Home. Funeral will be held Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Macedonia Cumberland Presbyterian Church at 1:00pm. Burial in Shackleford Family Cemetery in Hillsboro. The family will receive friends Wednesday Evening from 6:00pm-8:00pm at The Henrietta Garth-Sharpley Memorial Chapel ( located at 410 Railroad St NW. Decatur, Alabama 35601). The body will be in church 1hr before the service.
