Michael Lee Powers

Michael Lee Powers was born May 15, 1967 to Oscela and Gertrude Powers in Dayton, Ohio. Both whom preceded him in death.

He is also preceded in death by 2 sisters: Cornelia Meniman and Charlean Moore. 1 brother: Frank Powers.

He attended Dayton, Ohio City Schools. He had a great love for the Culinary Arts. He really enjoyed cooking for his family and friends.

Michael resided in Dayton before relocating to Madison, Alabama where he remained until his death.

Michael leaves to cherish his memories: his children: Michael Powers, Jr., Marty Powers and Daysha Powers all of Dayton, Ohio. 2 brothers: Waymon Powers and Riley (Phyllis) Powers both of Madison, Alabama. 2 sisters: Gracie Moore of Athens, Alabama. Annette Powers of Dayton, Ohio. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends..... R.I.H... Gone But Will Never Be Forgotten!!!

Under the directing of Sharpley Funeral Home. Funeral will held Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 12:00pm at Henrietta Garth-Sharpley Memorial Chapel (located at 410 Railroad St. NW. Decatur, Alabama 35601). Rev. David Wallace, Officiating. A Private Burial will be held at a later date.
