Mrs. Viola Mishaw-Jones

On February 21, 1931, Viola Mishaw-Jones was born to the late, Alice and Hobert Mishaw in Athens, Alabama Limestone County. She was the 5th born of 15 children.

Viola received her formal education in the public schools in Limestone County.

She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at the New Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church (Dogwood Flat), Tanner, Alabama.

Viola retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.

Viola devoted her life to God and her family. She was the embodiment of what is  good, righteous, humble and admirable. She was a giving mother.

Viola, will be missed by all. Her memories will always be in our hearts and minds forever.

She is preceded in death by A Son: Ray Alexander Jones. A Sister: Dorothy. 7 Brothers: George, Hobert, Jr., William, Bennie, Sandey B., Larry and Jerry.

She departed this life Monday, July 16, 2018 at Falkville Health Care.

Emma Davis of Detroit, MI. Ruth (Elmore) Love of Detroit, MI. Frances Brown of Nashville, Tn. 2 Brothers: Clarence and Charles Mishaw of Detroit, MI. Sister-In-Laws: Birda Mishaw and Lottie Jones White of Nashville, Tn. Alma Mishaw of Georgia. 13 Grandchildren. 20 Great-Grandchildren. 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

 Under the directing of Sharpley Funeral Home. Funeral will be held Monday, July 23, 2018 at 12:00pm at New Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church (located at 11479 Dogwood Flat Rd. Tanner, Alabama 35671). Pastor Larry Lockett, Sr. Officiating. Burial in Sterrs Cemetery. The body will be in church 1 hr. before the services.
