Peggy Orr Obituary

Mrs. Peggy Mitchell-Orr was born on April 11, 1962 to the late Mr. Tommie Mitchell and the late Mrs. Dorothy Mitchell-Lockhart in Morgan County.

She confessed hope in Jesus Christ at an early age and became a member of Pentecostal House Of Prayer. Before she got sick she attended Pentecostal Tabernacle Church.

Peggy was a Parenting Aide for Somerville Rd. Elementary School and a Tutor at Beech St. Boys and Girls Club. She loved and enjoyed helping children.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband: Larry Orr.

She entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 2, 2019 at Huntsville Hospital.

She leaves to cherish her memories: A  Loving and Devoted Daughter: Michelle Mitchell. 2 Grandchildren: Christian Riley and La'Kayia Mose all of Decatur, Alabama. 3 Sisters: Mary (Benny) Foster of Huntsville, Alabama. Mary Sharpley of Hartselle, Alabama. Frances (Bill) Jones of Decatur, Alabama. 1 Brother: Connie Mitchell of Huntsville, Alabama. A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

 A Memorial Service for Mrs. Peggy Mitchell-Orr, 57, of Decatur, Alabama who passed away Monday, September 2, 2019 at Huntsville Hospital will be held Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 1:00pm at The Henrietta Garth-Sharpley Memorial Chapel (Located at 410 Railroad St. NW. Decatur, Alabama 35601). With a Memorial Balloon Release immediately following the service at the park.
