Under the Directing of Sharpley Funeral Home funeral service for Ms. Arteyvia Hill, 33, of Decatur, Alabama who passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Decatur Morgan Hospital will held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 1:00PM at the Apostolic Church of God (located at 801 Fretwell Ave. SW, Decatur, Alabama 35601) Burial will be at Sterrs Cemetery. The body will be in church 1hr before the service.
Arteyvia D’Onka was born on January 3, 1989, to Lavon Hill Minor and the Late Arthur Allen Emerson. She departed this life on February 8, 2022, at Decatur Morgan Hospital.
Arteyvia attended Decatur High School. She loved doing hair and braids were her priority. She loved her family especially her two children. She had a beautiful smile and spirit. Her door was the door that everyone came when they wanted to gather and socialize. She loved joking and having fun with her siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She is proceeded in death by her father: Arthur Allen Emerson, her Paternal Grandparents: Mary and Levolia Hill and Jim and Mildred Emerson. A special Aunt: Willie Bell Taylor.
Arteyvia leaves to cherish her memory: 2 Beautiful Children Almarion Jayvon Davis and A’Kaurii Ja’Nae Carter.
