Eddie ((Diddy) - (Diddy Boy)) Nelson, Jr.

Eddie Nelson, Jr. was born to the late Eddie Nelson, Sr. and the late Lurlean Points on August 7, 1956.

Eddie confessed hope in Christ at an early age under the leadership of the late Bishop A.C. Strong, where he as a faithful member.

Many knew him as “Diddy” and others as “Diddy Boy”. He attended Decatur High School.

He is preceded in death by his parents. A Brother-In-Law: Terry White.

He departed this life on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at McGuffey Healthcare in Gadsden, Alabama.

Diddy leave to cherish his memories 2 Sisters: Rev. Connie White and Jonia Evon Taylor. An Aunt: Mrs. Minnie Wheeler of Decatur, Alabama. A Special Friend: John Houston of New York. 3 Nieces: Washanta White, Terri White (Rickey) McDaniel, Taneisha Taylor. 3 Great-Nieces: La’Shanna Taylor, Traneisha Taylor and Stactriana White. 1 Great-Nephew: Ja’Terrian Anderson. A special Cousin: Demetrius (Pricilla) Cowley. A host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside Service for Mr. Eddie Nelson, Jr, 64, of Decatur, Alabama who passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020 at McGuffey Healthcare in Gadsden, Alabama will be held Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 1:00pm at Decatur City Cemetery. Public viewing will be held Thursday, December 24, 2020 from 10:00am-3:00pm. Saturday, December 26, 2020 from 9:00am-12:00pm. Face mask or some sort of face covering and social distancing will all be enforced.. If you do not comply you will be asked to leave.. No exception!!
