Glenn Miller Obituary

Glenn Miller was born February 20, 1961.  On Saturday night March 9, 2024, Father GOD was looking down from Heaven and JESUS took his hands and said “Come take your rest!”

Glenn was the 13th child to the late Johnny and Eva Mae Miller.  Glenn was baptized and received CHRIST later in life.   He was quiet and kept to himself most of the time.  In high school, Glenn was a member of the J.O. Johnson Track and Field team.   He was an avid College Football fan.  He enjoyed cheering for the Alabama Crimson Tide Football team and attending Alabama A&M and J.O. Johnson/Mae Jemison High school football and basketball games with his brother Terry.  One thing we could count on was his ability to always be on time – if we told him we would pick him up at a certain time – he would always say “I’ll be ready”! – we never had to wait on him!  You would find him on his weekly walks on Tuesday and Thursday’s, often walking 7-8 miles each day.  After a long battle with renal failure, he gave up his earthly life and is now in Heaven.  He was deeply loved by his family and will be greatly missed.

Glenn’s siblings that have transition before him.  James Richard Miller, Laura Miller, Johnnie M. Stewart and Jeanetta Freeman.

He leaves to cherish his memories, Five Brothers, John Miller (Creasie), Cleveland, OH, George Miller (Fannie), Town Creek, AL, Terry Miller, Huntsville, AL, James E. Miller (Saundra), Oberlin, OH, and Dewayne Miller (Denise) Junction City, KS; Four Sisters, Lucinda London, Mattie Miller and Annie Rapiere all of Huntsville, AL and Paralee Ramsey, Camden, AL and a host of other relatives, nieces, nephews and friends.
