Hazel L. Orr

Hazel Louise Orr was born August 5, 1928, in Danville, Alabama to the late Eugene and Josephine Orr. She departed this life Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Decatur Morgan Hospital Main Campus at 3:37 a.m.

Hazel was one of 4 children all who precede her in death: Vera Jean Orr (Jimmy), Rita Orr Sharpley (Harold), Stella Francis Orr Jackson (Levi) and 1 son Joe A. Orr.

At an early age she accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at CME Methodist Church in Danville, Alabama.

She leaves to cherish her memory: 1 Son Timothy Orr (Tonya) of Decatur, Alabama, 2 Devoted Nieces Dyane Garner of Hartselle, Alabama and Ima Faye Russell (Leroy) of Grove Point, Michigan. 5 Grandchildren and a host of family and friends that she loved and cherished.

Graveside for Ms. Hazel L. Orr, 94, of Hartselle, Alabama, who passed away on Saturday, August 13,2022 at Decatur Morgan Hospital will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at Campground Cemetery located in Massey, Alabama. 

Public viewing at the funeral home will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 12:00 noon to 6:00pm  and Saturday, August 20, 2022 from 9:00am-10:30am.
