Obituary
Mr. James Owens Jr. was born on December 31, 1947, in Decatur, Alabama to the Late James Owens Sr. and Edna Owens-Thompson. He departed his Earthly Life to enter his Heavenly Home on August 25, 2022.
He accepted Christ at an early age and joined the St. Stephens P.B. Church where he remained until his death.
His memory shall forever be cherished by his Loving Wife Annie (Ruth) Owens, his Children James Owens III, Clarissa Owens, and Barbara (Leslie) Porter Jr. all of Decatur, Alabama, His Brother Fredrick (Gloria) Thompson of Atlanta, Georgia, His Nephew Austin Macon AcWorth of Atlanta, Georgia. A host of relatives and other friends.

Graveside service for Mr. James Owens Jr., 74, of Decatur, Alabama who passed away on Thursday, August 25,2022 at Huntsville Hospital will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at 12:00noon at Decatur City Cemetery (Located at 1001 Wilson St. NW, Decatur, AL 35601). Public View at the funeral home will be Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 12:00pm-6:00pm and Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 9:00am-10:00am.
