Jeffrey "Uncle Jeffo" Taylor was born on May 18, 1967 to Murlene Taylor-Draper in Oakville, Al. He proved from birth that he was a fighter. The doctors said he wouldn't live past 7 years old, yet he entered into eternity on April 11, 2022 at the age of 54.
Jeffo was a graduate of Lawrence County High School. He participated in the Special Olympics where he won may awards. Jeffo loved music, especially The Temptations, The 4 Tops and The Jackson 5. He would sing and dance for hours while making his own music. He would play his records all night , which meant he was spinning pot lids on the kitchen table. Jeffro loved the kids, but if they were to act up, he'd say "bring 'em here, i get 'em". He'd set them straight real quick.
Everyone loved Jeffo and if you told him you loved him he would say "I know it". Sometimes children would be frightened of his appearance and he would tell them "I'm not gonna hurt you"- most of the time. Sometimes he'd say "Stop that damn crying." No matter the response he gave it was from a place of love. Jeffro loved watching westerns and "In the Heat of the Night."
Jeffro is preceded in death by his parents: Murlene and Homer Draper. his grandparents: Amos and Madeline Taylor, his siblings: Bertha Draper and Christopher Draper, his aunts: Betty Cunningham, Linda Mitchell, Pearline Taylor, Minnie Johnson and Mary Loyd, his uncles: Carl Taylor, William Taylor and Ruel Taylor.
He will forever be remembered in the hearts of his sister: Monica (Frank) Harper, his brother: Stephen (Amanda) Draper, his uncle: Henry Taylor, his nieces: Sentoyah Harper, Brooklyn Hart, Ashley Harris, Matasia Draper, Makayla Draper, Jacey Draper and Ave Draper, his nephews: Amos (Natalie) Draper, Zacchari Draper, CJ Harris, Frank Harper Jr., Jaylen Draper and Stephen Draper III , his great-nieces: Reylen Harper, Lennox Draper, Aerilyn Harper, Emerie Harper and Everleigh Harper, his great-nephews: Jaemison Draper, Hampton Draper, Kaiser Hart and Landyn Hart and many other relatives and friends.
