Joe Anthony Orr

Joe Anthony Orr was born on July 17, 1959, to Hazel Louise Orr and the Late Jordan Nichols Sr. Joe worked for many years at the dairy farm and industrial parks like Russel Forest. He worked hard all his life but to him he would tell you his greatest work was his twins: Michael and Ashley. As the family grew his grandchildren lit up his face like no other just as Auburn Football, War Eagle!

Joe passed this life on Tuesday, April 26, 2022.

Joe leaves to cherish his memories: his mother Hazel Louise Orr, his children: Michael Orr (Nicole), Ashley Orr, Stepdaughters: Altrina Orr, Donna Orr and Jennifer Nance, StepSons: Donald Lee Orr Jr. (Beth), Shannon Orr (Janice), Siblings: Tim Orr, Patricia Nichols, Derrick Nichols (Nikki) , Christine Nichols and Jordan Nichols Jr., Grandchildren: Mikala Orr, Alexandra Monroe, Michaela Monroe, Takalem Haley, Allexia Brown, Christopher Mitchell, Alana Mitchell Hannah Stiles, Allexis Smith, Great Grandchild: Khaeliana Orr, seven more step-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Under the directing of Sharpley Funeral Home funeral service for Mr. Joe Anthony Orr, 62,  Hartselle, Alabama, who passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at his residence will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 1:00PM at the Henrietta Garth-Sharpley Chapel (located at 410 Railroad St. NW Decatur, Alabama 35601). Public viewing will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 10:00AM-5:00PM and on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 10:00AM until service time.
