Mr. Kenneth Griffin Obituary

" Soon And Very Soon We Are Going To See The King Hallelujah, Hallelujah We're Going To See The King."

Kenneth Dewayne Griffin was born on October 25, 1960 to Prentiss Odell Griffin and Eva Mae Griffin, both who preceded him in death. On Thursday, January 17, 2019 God called and he answered to eternal rest. Kenneth was fondly and lovingly known as "T.C." He was also known for his contagious smile, giving heart and overall joy for life. Kenneth had eleven siblings. He was also preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Harold James and Erskin Griffin. 3 Sisters: Carolyn Griffin, Cardella Tobias and Odessa Brackins and 1 Brother-In-Law: Travis Brackins.

Kenneth confessed his love for Chris at an early age and was a member of Gibson Chapel  Methodist Church, where he was a blessing to all, he sang with the choir and he loved to sing "Soon and Very Soon." He found great joy and gratitude in serving as a Steward at the church until his health failed. Although life presented its trails along the way, Kenneth continued to remain faithful to God. He loved the Lord, and it showed in his daily walk. He truly had a servant's  heart, and loved his Pastors: Re. Robert Yarbrough and 1st Lady Kim Yarbrough.

He leaves to cherish his Loving Memories: 2 Brothers: Thomas Griffin of Oakville, Alabama. Earl (Alberta) Griffin of Hartselle, Alabama. 4 Sisters: Mother Patricia Taylor and Apostle Gloria Taylor both of Moulton, Alabama. Minister Paulette (Wymond)  Taylor of Oakville, Alabama. Pastor Melissa (Derrick) Glass of Decatur, Alabama. 2 Aunts: Magnolia Mayes of Cleveland, OH. Idell Orr of Hartselle, Alabama. 1 Brother-In-Law: Norman Tobias of Florence, Alabama. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
