Mrs. Ocie Clystene (Russell) Sharpley

Ocie Clystene Russell-Sharpley was born in Somerville, Alabama to the late Leroy and the late Mildred Wilkerson-Russell, Sr., on July 30, 1943.

She was baptized into the Church of Christ at the age of 15, at the Sparkman St. Church of Christ in Hartselle. When Pennylane Church of Christ was built, she along with the rest of the congregation moved to the Pennylane Church of Christ in Hartselle, where she worked for Lord in the Lord's Church until moving  to Louisville, Ky., with the Beach St. Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her husband Mr. Dwain Sharpley in August 5, 2016. Her parents. 4 Siblings: Hollis, J.W. Leroy, Jr., and Bernice Russell.

She departed this life on November 24, 2019 at Huntsville Hospital.

She leaves to cherish her memories 2 Brothers: Charles (Patsy) Russell and Leon Russell both of Louisville, Ky. 2 Sisters: Oral (Robert) MacAuthur of Florence, Alabama. Doris (Dell) Newton of Orlando, Fl. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

 Under the directing of Sharpley Funeral Home. Funeral will be held Monday, December 2, 2019 at 12:00pm at The Henrietta Garth-Sharpley Memorial Chapel (Located at 410 Railroad St. NW. Decatur, Alabama 35601). Burial in Sterrs Cemetery.
