Mrs. Sertockia Montrale ("Tasha") Smith-Scales

Sertockia Montrale Smith-Scales was born to Angela Renee Smith-Holmes and the late Rickey Holmes on August 16, 1978 in Morgan County, Alabama.

Tasha as she was affectionately known by all who knew her. She was a very sweet, kind and loving person that would give you the shirt off here back, to help anyone. She also enjoyed cooking and was very good at it too.

Tasha's earthly calling should have been Interior Design, because she knew how to decorate a house and or a room.

Her life was all about her husband and her kids, that she made it known she loved them deeply!!

She attended Austin High School in the Decatur City School System.

Early in life she was employed by Country Cottage in Decatur. Later she was employed by Dollar Tree in Madison. Later she gave all of those up to take on one main job that she loved very much and it was, she became a Housewife and took care of home, husband and her kids.

She departed this life on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Decatur Morgan Hospital-Decatur General Campus.

 Tasha leaves to cherish her memories A Loving and Devoted Husband: Arthur Maurice Scales. 2 Loving Sons: Tyler Rashaud Smith and Austin Maurice Scales all of Decatur, Alabama. A Mother: Angela Renee Holmes. Her Siblings: Latonia Shante Stovall, Tory Rashaud Smith, Marcia Shenee Holmes, Brandy Tashay Holmes and Rickee Demetra Holmes all of Decatur, Alabama.Grandparents: Maggie Holmes and Alfred Thomas Holmes,Sr. Joan (LaRon) Gildon and James Albert Smith, ll. A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

In Memoriam Appreciation... We do not take it lightly that you have entrusted your loved one to us. We are confident and sincerely pray that our services have been satisfactory and comforting. We pray GOD bestows a blessing on each of you, Most Respectfully, Sharpley Funeral Home.

A Memorial Service  will be held Monday, June 25, 2018 at The Henrietta Garth-Sharpley Memorial Chapel (located at 410 Railroad St. NW. Decatur, Alabama 35601)  at 12:00pm. A Memorial  Balloon Release will immediately follow at the A.C. Banks Park on Vine St. NW. Decatur, Alabama, all are welcome to attend to honor the memory of Tasha.
