Roneal Gholston entered this life on October 25, 1952, in Lawrence County, Alabama to the late James Ruel and the late Josephine Stovall-Gholston.
He accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Town Creek, Alabama under the leadership of Pastor Darius Holden, where he remained until his death.
Roneal is preceded in death by his parents: James Ruel & Josephine Stovall-Gholston. 3 Brothers: Charlie D. Gholston, Clarence Gholston and Perry Lee Gholston. 1 Sister: Dorris Gholston-Davenport.
He departed this life on Friday, October 22, 2021, at Decatur Morgan Hospital-Decatur General Campus.
Mr. Gholston leaves to cherish his fond and sweet memories: His loving and Devoted Children: Katina Trammell of Fayetteville, Tennessee and Quanesha Garth of Decatur, Alabama. Grandchildren: Darrius Lampkin, Xvaier Mason and Keshawn Smith. 3 Brothers: Ruel James Gholston of Decatur, Alabama, Connie Mack Gholston and Rickey (Angela) Gholston of Town Creek, Alabama. 1 Brother-in-law: Ronnie Davenport. A host of nieces, nephews’ other relatives and friends.
Those we love don’t go away they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear.

Zion Missionary Baptist Church ( located at 140 Co. Rd. 271 Town Creek, Alabama 35672). Burial in the church cemetery.
