Willie B. Sears

Willie B. Sears was born on December 21, 1938, in Wedowee, Alabama to the late Eddie & Ora Bell Sears. He confessed his Life to Christ and to St. Stephens Primitive Baptist Church many, many years ago. He ran a good race, fought a good fight and now he is gone home. He departed this life on March 25, 2022.

He is proceeded in death by his wife Clara Louise Sears, Devoted mother of his children: Katherine Cooper. His daughter Deborah Vaughn, his sister Esther Moore and his grandchildren Latonya Sears and Marcus Willard.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories and rejoice in his homegoing Two Daughters: Rosemary (Larry) Sears, Stella Sears; Two Sons: John (Melissa) Sears, Willie (Heather) Sears Jr all of Decatur, Alabama; Three Sisters: Estella Sears and Mary Elizabeth Sears both of Detroit, Michigan and Barbara Sears of Decatur, Alabama; Three Brothers: Alvin Sears, Eddie Sears Jr. both of Decatur, Alabama and Harvey Sears of Detroit, Michigan; 11 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service for Mr. Willie B. Sears, 84, of Decatur, Alabama, who passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022 at his residence will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at 2:00PM at St. Stephens Primitive Baptist Church( located at 210 7th Ave SW Decatur, Al 35601) Burial at Decatur City Cemetery. The body will be in church 1hr. before the service.
